(PRI) is a small, not-for-profit corporation located in upstate New York and incorporated in 1995. Our work revolves around behavioral health services research and technical assistance provision. We are recognized leaders in the behavioral health field and have the capacity to provide a broad range of services and to administer large-scale projects. Our researchers and support personnel are known for their expertise in the overlap of mental health and the areas of behavioral health/addictions, criminal and juvenile justice, homelessness, recovery supports, accessing benefits, veterans, and issues pertaining to family members and consumers. MacArthur Foundation’s Safety and Justice Challenge—Serious Mental Illness Technical Assistance contract provides intensive technical assistance to the selected Safety and Justice Challenge jurisdictions that have targeted initiatives for individuals with Serious Mental Illness. facebook twitter view website ARDRAW Small Grant Program The Analyzing Relationships between Disability, Rehabilitation and Work (ARDRAW) Small Grant Program is a one-year $10,000 stipend program awarded to graduate-level students to conduct supervised independent research designed to foster new analysis of work, rehabilitation, and disability issues. facebook twitter view website National Center for Youth Opportunity and Justice This project aims to improve life opportunities for youth by advancing policy and practice improvements that ensure the well-being of youth, families, and communities. facebook twitter view website Our Services PRI offers four core services to inform policy and practice decisions, which result in improved outcomes for underserved-populations: Technical Assistance Training Research Meeting Facilitation & Planning PRI is a national leader in behavioral health technical assistance provision and has served as the catalyst for systems change. We provide technical assistance to states, territories, and tribes through a broad range of services (both onsite and virtual) to guide policy and practice change. We have operated numerous technical assistance centers and programs for federal and foundation clients. Our staff and consultants assist with the implementation of evidence-based treatment and support services for people with behavioral health and/or addiction disorders, particularly those who have experienced homelessness or who have been in contact with the criminal or juvenile justice systems. A sample of our national technical assistance centers National Center for Youth Opportunity and Justice Statewide Family and Consumer Networks Technical Assistance Center (2009 – 2014) PRI offers training workshops in our expertise areas to help communities and organizations transform behavioral health service delivery. We develop training curricula to meet your needs using evidence-based practices, state of the art technologies, and strategies that engage practitioners and policy makers. Our trainers provide a wide variety of resources to participants, including tool kits, monographs, trainer manuals, and strategic planning tools.
